Lift services for schools, colleges and universities

Educational buildings carry specific obligations when it comes to accessibility. Lifts that provide access for students and staff with mobility needs aren't optional, and keeping them working is a compliance requirement.

Education Lifts Services.

We work with schools, colleges, universities and multi-academy trusts to provide maintenance contracts and installation services that meet the requirements of the Equality Act and the specific demands of educational environments.

We're used to working in buildings that are both heavily used and have restricted windows for planned works. Our teams plan maintenance visits around term times wherever possible, and our engineers understand the safeguarding requirements of working in school environments.

For universities and larger further education institutions with multiple buildings and mixed lift estates, we can manage the whole portfolio under a single contract with central reporting.

Many school buildings present structural constraints, particularly older buildings where shafts may not have been built to current standard dimensions. Modern MRL gearless technology compliant with EN81-21 can often be installed in constrained spaces where older lift types could not. If accessibility is a problem in your building because of structural limitations, it's worth a conversation.
