Residential lift services

From large-scale residential developments and housing associations through to high-end private properties, we provide lift installation, maintenance and repair services across the full range of residential environments.

Technical Excellence.

Social housing lifts carry particular obligations - they serve residents who may have limited mobility, they must remain compliant under LOLER and associated regulations, and they operate in buildings where extended downtime directly affects people’s ability to access their homes. We understand that the professionals specifying and managing these contracts are accountable for getting those outcomes right.

We can support you from early-stage traffic analysis and specification through to installation, commissioning, project testing and structured handover. Our teams are experienced in working within the procurement and reporting frameworks that housing associations require, and we’re familiar with the documentation and compliance trails that professional-managed contracts demand.

Residential Lifts.

Block Residential lifts carry a different kind of responsibility. The people using them are often not the people managing them. When a lift fails, it has a real impact on daily life, and we take that very seriously.

We work with property managers, housing associations, developers and building owners across the UK. Whether it’s maintaining an ageing lift in a sheltered housing block, installing a new passenger lift in a development under construction, or providing rapid response when a lift in a high-rise fails, we have the local teams and technical capability to handle it.

For housing associations managing large portfolios of residential properties, we provide account-managed contracts with consistent reporting, single point of contact and full asset visibility across every site. We understand that lift downtime in social housing has welfare implications, particularly for elderly residents or those with mobility needs and so our SLAs reflect that.

We work across the full range of residential environments from large urban developments and housing association portfolios to smaller private schemes in every region of the UK. Our engineers and project managers are locally based, which means they understand the specific requirements and expectations of the buildings and communities they work in.

Prestigious Housing

Equipment and technology.

For new residential installations, we specify gearless traction MRL lifts as standard. Key considerations in residential environments include sound deadening and anti-vibration design ensuring the lift drive system and mechanical components don’t transmit noise into the building structure, which is particularly important in apartments where the shaft adjoins living spaces.

For higher-use residential entrances, communal areas and buildings with anti-social behaviour risk, we can specify Category 1 and 2 vandal-resistant door equipment which are significantly more robust than standard commercial doors, designed to withstand sustained misuse without failing.

For older residential buildings or sheltered housing schemes where a full passenger lift isn’t feasible, we offer stairlift and platform lift solutions.
