As an independent company, we have no restrictions on the equipment we use, ensuring an appropriately tailored lift package to suit your building’s needs. We specify open protocol equipment, meaning lifts can be maintained, serviced or upgraded by any competent lift engineer, now and in the future, and we source from the best suppliers in the lift market to ensure open protocol on your projects.

Technology we install.

Machine Room Less (MRL) lifts

The modern standard for most passenger lift installations. MRL technology eliminates the need for a dedicated machine room above or beside the shaft freeing up valuable building space and reducing construction costs. We install MRL lifts across commercial, residential, healthcare and public sector buildings.

Gearless traction lifts

Gearless traction drive technology uses a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a frequency variator, delivering smoother, quieter, more energy-efficient operation than traditional geared drives. It's the preferred technology for buildings where performance and passenger experience matter, and it's what we specify as standard for commercial passenger installations.

Scenic and panoramic lifts

For atrium spaces, retail environments and architectural showpieces where the lift is an integral part of the building design and aesthetic. We have in-house experience of specifying and delivering scenic glass lifts in complex configurations, including duplex and triplex groups for high-traffic buildings.

Duplex and triplex lift groups

For buildings with high passenger throughput - offices, hotels, mixed-use developments, then two or three lifts operating as a coordinated group are significantly more efficient than the same number of independent lifts. We design, specify and install lift groups with coordinated traffic management software to maintain a stready flow of people throughout your building.

Constrained shaft installations

Many existing buildings don't have shafts built to standard dimensions. Modern MRL technology, particularly gearless MRL systems compliant with EN81-21, can be installed in buildings with shallow pits, reduced overhead clearance or non-standard shaft proportions. If you've been told a new lift isn't feasible in your building, it's worth talking to us.

In-house design.

Complex projects don't always fit standard configurations. We have in-house design capability, including 3D CAD modelling, which means we can work through constrained spaces and unusual layouts before a single component is ordered. This is particularly valuable in heritage buildings, retrofit installations and any project where the structural solution and the lift specification need to be developed together.

Standards and accreditations.

All new lifts are designed and installed to current European standards, including EN81-20/50 (safety of lifts), EN81-21 (new lifts in existing buildings), EN81-28 (two-way communication), UCM (uncontrolled car movement) and EN81-70 (Accessibility to lifts for persons including persons with disability) protection as standard. All of these are delivered under our ISO 9001 quality certification.
